Rory Burke

Rory received her MFA from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in sculpture. She uses mixed media to concentrate on the human skull as a symbol of man’s possession of both reason and emotion. Her work has been exhibited in solo shows at Galleria Barbara Mahler in Lugano, Switzerland, and the Fetherston Gallery in Seattle, WA. In 2007, Rory was awarded the Outstanding Scholastic Achievement Award by the International Sculpture Center.
