Deborah Horrell

Deborah Horrell worked as a ceramist for many years. In 1994 Horrell participated in the Pilchuck Glass School’s (Washington) visiting artist program. A residency at the Bullseye Factory in Washington followed, permanently changing the trajectory of her career.
Horrell’s work has been shown in museums and galleries throughout the US, including the Renwick Gallery at the Smithsonian, Washington, DC; Toledo Museum of Art, Ohio; the Kentucky Museum of Art and Craft, Louisville; Racine Art Museum, Wisconsin; Museum of American Glass, Wheaton Village, New Jersey; and the Portland Art Museum. Oregon. Her work is in included in many prominent public and private collections including the Portland Art Museum; the Microsoft Art Collection, Seattle; the Jordan Schnitzer Collection, Portland, Oregon; the Wexner Center for the Arts, Columbus, Ohio; and the Tucson Art Museum, Arizona. Horrell’s estate has been represented by the Elizabeth Leach Gallery since 2001.
Deborah Horrell received her MFA from the University of Washington and her BFA from Arizona State University.
