Talia Mukmel

Talia Mukmel combines historical and present objects to create new materials and textures. Mukmel earned her MA in The Interdisciplinary Program in the Arts at Tel Aviv University in Israel, and currently works as a materials collection manager in the Aharon Feiner Eden Materials Library at Design Museum Holon in Israel. Mukmel is interested in exploring the bonds that people create with the objects to which they are emotionally attached. She focuses on materials and objects that fill our daily life and defines them from a new approach.
Her recent work is exhibited at B.Y5 Gallery at Tel Aviv, Hensen House in Jerusalem, Espace Commines in Paris, and Hankin Gallery in Israel.
