Participate in a hands-on activity inspired by Martha Poggioli’s (Foundry ‘20 & ‘24) creative process. Over the past decade, Poggioli has researched the history of medical inventions, creating an ongoing digital library of images and text. Visitors can explore these ideas through hands-on activities, such as sewing and casting, utilize techniques and materials used by artists and medical professionals alike.
This event is a part of Arts/Industry Community Day.
Workplace: Hands-On Activity is supported by the Kohler Trust for Arts and Education, Ruth Foundation for the Arts, the Frederic Cornell Kohler Charitable Trust, Kohler Foundation, Inc., and the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts.
Arts/Industry is a unique collaboration between the John Michael Kohler Arts Center and Kohler Co. This residency program is administered by the John Michael Kohler Arts Center and generously hosted and funded by Kohler Co.
