She has apprenticed at the Fabric Workshop and Museum in Philadelphia and has assisted several artists with the creation and installation of their work, most notably Ann Hamilton and Do-ho Suh. Additionally, she has been awarded Individual Artist Fellowships from both the Maryland State Arts Council and the Baltimore City Arts Council. While in residence at Kohler, Lesley will test then cast hundreds of stenciled brick units to be assembled into walls and enclosures.
