Tina Aufiero

Tina Aufiero’s work spans across disciplines of art, sculpture, craft, design, and technology. She was the artistic director at Pilchuck Glass School in Washington, for six years, only recently stepping down to continue her artistic practice. Her work is focused on physical interaction, particularly creating interactions using sensors to mediate video and sound. Works manifest as objects, sculptures, videos and photographic prints.

She has exhibited and lectured internationally, and her work is included in the collections of John Michael Kohler Arts Center, Sheboygan, Wisconsin; The Heineman Collection-Corning Museum of Glass, Corning, New York; Musée des Arts Décoratifs, Lausanne, Switzerland; Venini SpA, Italy; and Pilchuck Glass School, Seattle, Washington.

Aufiero holds an MFA in design and Technology from Parsons The New School for Design, and a BFA from Rhode Island School of Design.
