R.G. Brown III

RG Brown III is a sculptor whose honors include a Fulbright Scholar Grant, African Regional Research Grant to Ghana, and Willson Center for Humanities and Arts Research Fellowship. Brown’s work has been exhibited in galleries and museums throughout the US and beyond. His solo exhibitions include Journeys, Quadro di Omega Gallery, Rome, Italy, and Opure /Works, Scuola Internazionale di Grafica, Venice, Italy.
Brown’s installations include GA ARC, Athens, Georgia; Jamestown Triangle, George Mason University, Fairfax, Virginia; Parallel, Sculpture Key West, Florida; and Westobou Canoe, Augusta State University, Augusta, Georgia.
Brown is professor emeritus of Lamar Dodd School of Art, University of Georgia, Athens. He has an MLA from Harvard University, an MFA in sculpture from University of Georgia, Athens, and a BA from the University of Hawaii.
