Brent Budsberg

Current Projects is a Milwaukee-based design studio run by artists Brent Budsberg and Shana McCaw. Along with a team of craftspeople, they collaborate with museums, artists, filmmakers, and individual clients to execute unique and challenging projects. Budsberg and McCaw enjoy challenging convention and pushing the limits of their own abilities and resources, mingling historic research and meticulous craft with contemporary design.

Recent projects include “Required Reading – Reexamining a Colonial Library” at the Boston Athenaeum, “Mrs M___’s Cabinet” at the Milwaukee Art Museum in collaboration with the Chipstone Foundation, “Skew”, a public sculpture commissioned for Sculpture Milwaukee, Eliza’s Peculiar Cabinet of Curiosities, an installation built for artist Fo Wilson at Lynden Sculpture Garden in collaboration with the Chipstone Foundation, and the Policy Trailer for the Oriental Theater in Milwaukee WI, in collaboration with SRH Marketing.
