Jackie Chang

Jackie Chang’s work addresses contemporary issues and concerns, drawing inspiration from the human experience. Chang is noted for compositions that combine words and images that inspire audiences to reflect on our humanity.
While in the artist-in-residence program at McColl Center for Visual Art in Charlotte (NC), CATS artist-in-resident in 2012, Chang worked with Charlotte Area Transit System (CATS), developing her proposals for the JW Clay and University City Boulevard Stations. Chang has completed a number of permanent and temporary art installations including the Brooklyn Museum of Art, the New York City Metropolitan Transit Authority, and the Minneapolis Public Library.
Chang received her BS in environmental design from the University of California-Davis and her MFA from School of the Art Institute of Chicago.
