Kevin Hluch

Kevin Hluch founded HluchArts with his wife, Margaret Hluch, in 2010 in Frederick, Maryland. Both have been practicing their craft for almost forty years. They have been exhibited in numerous shows and galleries throughout the US and internationally.

Hluch has an MFA in ceramics and sculpture from Kent State University and is professor of art teaching ceramics at Montgomery College in Rockville, Maryland. He received two Fulbright-Hayes Visiting Lectureships, one as Visiting Fulbright-Hayes lecturer in ceramics and art history at Kenyatta University near Nairobi, Kenya, and the other as instructor of ceramics and drawing at Yarmouk University in Irbid, Jordan.

Hluch’s travels to countries including Costa Rica, Egypt, France, Germany, Great Britain, Greece, India, Italy, Jamaica, Japan, Jordan, Kenya, Syria, Turkey, Australia, Scotland, and South Korea have, over the years, influenced his work.
