Tom Ladousa
Arts/Industry: Pottery, 1974
Tom Ladousa created works of art in clay from his studio in Lafayette, Louisiana, where he taught ceramics for thirty-two years at the University of Louisiana. Ladousa moved to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, in 2008, where he developed a ceramic technique using low-fire white slip.
Ladousa, along with fellow artist Jack Earl, participated in the inaugural Arts/Industry residency in 1974. The two artists spent one month in the Kohler Co. factory and produced over one hundred twenty artworks.
