David Packer

David Packer’s work has been exhibited at Jardin Anima (Morocco), ArtHelix (NY), EB Fine Arts (NY), Youkobo Art Center (Japan), Le Cube (Morocco), Navta Schulz Gallery (IL), Lyons Wier Ortt (NY), Enoch Pratt (MD), 621 Gallery (FL), Nancy Margolis Gallery (NY), Rockland Center for the Arts (NY), South Florida Art Center (FL), Gallery Satori (NY), and The Soap Factory (MN), among others.
Packer’s work is in the collections of Brooklyn Arts Library, Carnegie Museum of Art (PA), Elwood Beach Fine Arts Foundation, Museum of Art and Design (NY), and Miami Dade Public Library system (FL), among others. He has been a Fulbright Research/Teaching Scholar in Marrakech, Morocco; Tangier, Morocco; and Fez, Morocco. He has been an artist-in-residence at Vallauris (France), Youkobo Artist in Residence (Japan), Virginia Center for the Creative Arts (VA), Yaddo (NY), The MacDowell Colony (NH), and the John Michael Kohler Arts Center’s Arts/Industry at Kohler Co. (WI). His work has been featured in Hyperallergic, Ceramics Monthly, Reno News & Review, and The Chicago Tribune, among others.
Packer earned his BA in ceramics from Bristol School of Art and his MFA in studio art from Florida State University.
