Terry Rosenberg’s paintings, sculpture, and drawings explore the multiplicity of human gestures, as polymorphs suggesting movement and transformation.
Rosenberg’s work is recognized among New York’s figurative genre and has been exhibited throughout the US and Europe. His work has been shown in venues such as MoMA PS1, New York; Whitney Museum of American Art at Philip Morris, New York; The Albright Knox Art Gallery, New York; the Museum of Fine Arts Boston; National Center for the Arts, Mexico City; and Sao Paulo Biennial, Brazil. It is included in the collections of the Brooklyn Museum of Art, New York; Smithsonian American Art Museum, Washington, DC; Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco; Walker Art Center, Minnesota; and Graphische Sammlung Albertina, Austria.
Rosenberg holds a BFA from the University of Miami and an MFA from the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University. He lives and works in New York City.
