Ryan Scails, from Bethel, CT, lives and makes work in Brooklyn, NY. His sculptures and drawings evoke the semi-familiar posture of engineering and product design to further analyze the human desire to make things.
His most recent exhibitions include Another Now at Sardine (Brooklyn, NY), Here Today | Gone Tomorrow at Space Create (Newburgh, NY), Able Bodies at 287 Gallery (Danbury, CT), and Object Lessons|Adaptive Research at High Desert Test Sites HQ (Yucca Valley, CA). Ryan received his BFA from Cooper Union in 2014.
