Christina Scheppmann Thomas is a Sheboygan-based artist, designer, and muralist. She attended the University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee and runs her business, Persika Design Co. (est. 2016), out of her home studio nestled in the woods on the shores of Lake Michigan. Christina, who goes by the artist pseudonym Christina Persika, has designed and painted murals for Bayshore Town Center, The Corners of Brookfield, Canela Cafe, Tosa East High School, Honey and Ace, the City of Wauwatosa, and the City of Sheboygan.

Her self-taught techniques in mixed media use a combination of watercolor, pencil, gouache, and digital collage to achieve textured, yet modern and expressive 2-D artworks. Christina’s work centers around her Scandinavian heritage, Midwestern roots, nature, spirituality, and community.
