Donald Stahlke

Donald Stahlke is a founding faculty member with The Franklin School of Innovation. Early in his teaching career, Stahlke found his passion in serving those with exceptional needs and special education. Many years of teaching exceptional needs students taught him the importance of getting to know his students to better facilitate learning through their strengths.
During his time as a resident in the at the John Michael Kohler Arts Center’s Arts/Industry at Kohler Co., Stahlke worked in the Pottery, creating castings of food, often incising images that correlate with his exploration of the foods we eat and their relationship to the psyche as nourishment and definition.
Stahlke earned a Master Teacher Certification status for exceptional need, and completed the rigorous National Board Certified Teacher in Exceptional Needs Specialist/Early Childhood through Young Adulthood program, and holds a Master’s in education from DePaul University, Illinois.
