Christopher Stanley

Christopher Stanley attended Rockhurst High School in Kansas City, Missouri, where he graduated in 1982. Stanley received a BSE. in secondary English education and a BF A. in design from University of Kansas. In 1989 Stanley and his wife, Annie, moved to Pullman, Washington, where, he earned his MFA in 1991. Stanley has lived in Odessa, Texas, since 1992. He is an associate professor of art at The University of Texas Permian Basin and teaches a large distribution of classes both in and out of the art department. Stanley has had work published in two books, 500 Bowls and Surface Design for Ceramics. He has received awards for his art, his teaching, and his community service.
