Tim Stone

Tim Stone is a native of Park Ridge, Ilinois where he grew up with his father and sister. His interest in art began at the age of five, with Mickey Mouse as his first subject. Dissatisfied with copying the images of others, he took up abstract art and has been painting and drawing ever since.

After joining Arts of Life as a studio member in 2010, Tim has expanded his practice with forays into drawing, painting, collaborative projects, and sculpture. He is an active member of the curatorial committee, assisting community curators with the selection and display of various local and national artists at Circle Contemporary. As a maker, Tim seems to have an unlimited supply of energy for his practice.
