Elizabeth Turk

Elizabeth Turk is based in Santa Ana, California, and New York City and creates sculpture made out of marble. Turk received her BA in international relations from Scripps College and her MFA from Maryland Institute College of Art. Her work has been exhibited at Hirschl & Adler Modern (MY), Catalina Island Museum (CA), Laguna Art Museum (CA), Mint Museum (NC), and LA Louver Gallery (CA), among others.

Her work is in numerous collections such as the Jewish Museum (NY), Dixon Gallery and Gardens, LACMA, The Mint Museum, the American Embassy in Baghdad, and the Fidelity Investments Collection. She has received the Helena Modjeska Award, a Smithsonian Artist Research Fellowship, the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation Fellowship, and a Joan Mitchell Foundation Grant, among others. In 2018, the artist launched ET Projects, a non-profit to develop participatory art experiences.
