Sonia Vasquez is an oil painter based in Manitowoc, Wisconsin. She received a BFA from UW-Milwaukee and has studied with atelier-trained artists, leading to her intersection of traditional techniques with contemporary concepts. Her subject matter is often based in bipoc and queer studies, history, and her collection of antiques.
