Sample Field Trip Schedules
Field trip times are available in the morning and afternoon at both the Art Preserve and the Arts Center.
The two buildings are a 8-minute drive from one another. Schools are responsible for transporting students between the two facilities.
Please budget the following times for the different field trip experiences:
- Art Preserve Tour + Arts Center Tour + Workshop: 4.5–5 hours
- Art Preserve Tour + Arts Center Tour + Take-Home Project Kit: 2.5–3 hours
- Art Preserve Tour + Workshop at the Arts Center: 3.5–4 hours
- Art Preserve Tour + Take-Home Project Kit: 1–1.5 hours
- Art Preserve Tour: 1–1.5 hours
- Arts Center Tour + Workshop: 1.5–2 hours
- Arts Center Tour + Take-Home Project Kit: 1–1.5 hours
- Arts Center Tour: 1 hour
The Art Preserve can accommodate up to 36 students at a time. The Arts Center can accommodate up to 72 students at a time.
If you would like to bring larger groups, a member of the education department will work closely with you to make it happen!
When you are ready to request a tour date, a member of the education department will reach out to confirm your date and discuss trip details.

Art Preserve Tour + Arts Center Tour + Arts Center Workshop
36 Students, 3 Adult Chaperones
- 9:45 a.m. Arrive at Art Preserve
- 10–11:30 Art Preserve Tour
- 11:30–11:45 Travel to Arts Center
- 11:45–12:15 Lunch at Arts Center
- 12:15–1:15 Arts Center Tour
- 1:15–2:15 Arts Center Workshop
- 2:30 p.m. Depart Arts Center

Art Preserve Tour + Workshop at the Arts Center
36 Students, 3 Adult Chaperones
- 9:45 a.m. Arrive at Art Preserve
- 10–11:30 Art Preserve Tour
- 11:30–11:45 Travel to Arts Center

72 Students, 6 Adult Chaperones
- 12:30 pm Arrive at Arts Center
- 12:45–2:15 Tour/Workshop
- 2:30 Depart Arts Center
Outdoor picnic areas are available at both locations. Indoor eating spaces may be available, with advanced reservation.
