The exhibition Milestones in the Making honors decades of Arts/Industry alumni and the visionary Ruth DeYoung Kohler II who established the program. Through letters, sketches, photos, and other archival documents, viewers can understand the true impact of this residency. Afterward, we will create abstract 2-D art inspired by materials on view in the gallery.
SPARK! is a creative engagement program for people with memory loss and their caregivers. It is free to attend, and the activities differ each month. A session typically begins with a visit to one of the Arts Center’s exhibitions, followed by a hands-on activity or art project in the Social Studio. SPARK! is a safe environment in which people can be themselves and let their imaginations roam freely.
All activities are subject to change.
SPARK! is supported by Mersberger Financial Group, Inc. and Home Instead.
Additional support come from the Kohler Trust for Arts and Education, the Frederic Cornell Kohler Charitable Trust, Kohler Foundation, Inc., and the Wisconsin Arts Board with funds from the State of Wisconsin and the National Endowment for the Arts.
