*Due to vibration stress limitations on the artworks in the Nek Chand art environment, the rhythm workshop will now take the form of panel discussion.*
Join us for a panel discussion about liberation through rhythm, movement, and creativity with drummer Sunny Jain. Joining him on the panel will be Levitt AMP Music Series concert opener SpinCycle (Ankur Malhotra). Panelists will also talk about their experiences and connections with Nek Chand’s Rock Garden of Chandigarh.
Sunny Jain’s Wild Wild East incorporates jazz, Black American music, and South Asian music. Sunny will speak about his experience with these genres and as a musician while leading an open discussion about what it means to be a creative human being.
Refreshments will be provided after the workshop in the Art Preserve Flex Space.
This event is part of Wayside Days. Learn more here.
