Art Links Sheboygan: Never What Is Planned

View mixed-media artwork created during the 2021–2022 Art Links Sheboygan workshop series. The paintings, ceramics, collages, prints, and artist books in this exhibition were all made by individuals age 55 “and better,” as part of an initiative supporting creative aging and lifelong vitality. The 2021 curatorial theme, Return to the Real, provided inspiration to these makers as they explored both the Arts Center and Art Preserve.
Workshops were supported by E.A. Michelson Philanthropy’s Seeding Vitality Arts in Museums initiative. JMKAC was one of twenty recipients of a grant that promoted community partnership and creative aging.
